I've been using Mini 9 with Snow Leopard 10.6 with an earlier version of Netbookinstaller beta that was released at the time. I would like to patch this up to 10.6.2 if possible and update the Netbookinstaller to a later version to fix up some of my intermittent boot issues (sometimes kernel panics, no pin wheels or grey screen telling you to reboot).

Since my system is pretty much installed already, what would be the best way of going about this upgrade? I have looked through most guides but its for either new installs (which is not my preference in this upgrade) - or how to upgrade from 10.5.x to 10.6.2.

Can someone please confirm to me what the correct method is to upgrade this?

If you've an NBI based 10.6 you don't need to re-install! Being thorough I would:

- Get and run newest NBI.
- Reboot and make sure its all basically happy.
- Run Software update.
- Rerun newest NBI, before reboot if possible.
