I am running 10.5.8 on a DellMini 9 with a 16GB runcore
ssd and NBI 0.8.3 and I have problems with Bluetooth audio.
I can successfully pair a stereo A2DP headset or a mono headset, it will show up in the
BT menu, but I cannot connect or use it.
With the A2DP headset when I select "use headphones" from the menu, nothing happens.
Whenever I switch on the mono headset I directly get an error message
"Bluetooth audio failed. There was an error connecting to your headset..."
I checked the log files and found these messages:
>kextd[68] loaded version 1.6.5fc3 of module com.apple.iokit.IOAudioFamily differs from requested version 1.6.5fc3 (UUIDs differ)
>kextd[68] a link/load error occured for kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/IOBluetoothFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOBluetoothSCOAudioDriver.kext
So apparently there is a version/UUID problem here or there is something with the IOAudioFamily.kext?
Is this only my problem or a general thing? What could I do?
Bluetooth in general works (Magic Mouse, mobile phone).
