I'm really not ready to deal with the 10.6.x audio problems on this particular machine, so I'm still on DellEFI. Oh well. I've experienced something with this install that I don't recall happening in the past, but probably has been there for others. My energy saver preferences don't show ACAdapter AND Battery options, I think they only show the ACAdaptor setting with no option for Battery. Was this a known problem that had a fix? Or . . . should I just go forward to one of the NBBMs, and if so will the latest release candidate be the best with 10.5.8 or should I use the latest final release? If I use one of the NBBMs, will the audio preferences and energy settings preferences have the correct options, which was my original reason for going back to 1.2a5. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks. [ Dan-O-Cam : http://smith.soehd.csufresno.edu/ ] |
