Thumbs down "Recovered Files" folder appears in trash on restart - 01-09-2010, 11:20 PM

Running OS 10.5.6 on my Dell Mini 9.

Out of nowhere, every time I boot up I have an empty "recovered files" folder sitting in the trash can. No programs were running when I last shut down (except Quicksilver, but there's no way that has anything to do with it). This is not a MAJOR PROBLEM, per se, but a minor annoyance that I'd really prefer to do without.

Any ideas?

I seem to get that with my MacBook most times I do a completer restart (vs. sleep). So I wouldn't worry about it.

This is happening to me as well. Like lovedt, it just started happening out of nowhere. Any insight as to what caused it (and how to fix it)?

EDIT: Google helped me discover that this is actually pretty common.

Something that may be of help/interest:

Mini 9 | BIOS A05 | OSX 10.5.8 | 2GB RAM | 16GB RunCore | BT | 1.3MP Cam
