I used pretty much the same method (but allowed NBI to make a new DSDT.aml which I then replaced with my original modified one. Everything is great in terms of the audio and mic just as it was with 10.6.2 & but on both my Mini 9s the SD card port no longer functions. Has anyone else encountered this ?

Your file size on the AppleHDA doesn't match the one BikiniFarm keeps referring to but mine didn't either when I last tried this... (before 10.6.3)

Yeah not sure why it doesnt match. I ran monolinqual and maybe that stripped it? Anyway it works.

I think theres 2 versions of this out there...

I got mine off my iMac 7,1 @ 10.6.2 originally and it had a different file size then what bikinifarm is getting from his macbook...perhaps it depends on the model mac we're sourcing it from...

After updating from 10.6.2 to 10.6.3 with NBI 0.8.4RC1 I decompiled my DSDT.aml and it was changed so I did the edits and recompiled. Replaced AppleHDA with version 1.7.9a4 (7,169,450 bytes) and added ALC268 ran UpdateExtra and audio is all working great again. No problems with SD card.

Okay, these file sizes are bothering me. There seems to be several versions of this file out there.

I've taken the liberty of downloading the 10.6.2 combo update and using Pacifist to extract the AppleHDA.kext from it.

Straight from the source...no patching of any sort, not by us or Apple (Maybe they patch to suit each mac?)... I get file size 6,960,132 bytes version: 1.7.9a4

This is with 100% confidence nothing has touched it as yet, extracted straight from the combo update package.

Incase anyone wanted it... here it is. I'm currently using this copy now, and its working flawlessly for me. The copy I got from Akki worked as well but had the 'pop' problem for some reason and the copy bikinifarm refers to, i have never been able to find.
