Default Update to RC 5? - 12-24-2009, 11:25 PM

Sorry for this simple question here, but I don't want to mess up my:
Vostro A 90 ; runcore 16G; SL; NBI RC4 installation.
What do I do exactely to get RC5 working?
Download it on the Vostro; check if the boot settings are right; and just run it (with RC4 still on the drive?).
Thanks in advance,

Yes, you can run the newer version with the older on in place, you don't have to remove anything, or uninstall anything.

It is worth it just for the new version of Chameleon Meklort has modified for our minis, as well as the sound repair. Oh yeah, and there is an additional extra kext folder, so any tweaks, like speed step, won't get removed should you need to re run NBI in the future.
It also fixes the dsdt.aml bug that was in RC4.

Try it out, if you like what you see, remember to run the new NBM against your install USB stick for future repair purposes.
