HDD space after MAC OS X Install - 12-22-2009, 03:40 AM
I'm a newbie and this is my 1st post/questions:
Dell Mini 9 with Ubuntu 8.04+LTS, 2 GB memory and 16 GB of SSD prior to Leopard install.
I've just successfully Installed MAC OS X 10.5.6 thanks to the following guide[NetbookInstaller 3: Installation via External DVD Drive using NetbookCD | Guides | OS X | mechdrew]but I was not successful on installing the update ( 10.5.8 combo update) due to insufficient disk space. I only have 2.2 GB of space. The update requires 2.5 GB of free space.
How can I free up of some space? I thought I only needed 8 GB of SSD? How come the installation occupied 11.76 GB? Is this normal?
Thanks In Advance.
