I cant remember which exactly as im at work, but both should technically work... (downloaded it from Downloads | OS X | mechdrew) Following parts of this guide How To: Hackintosh a Dell Mini 9 Into the Ultimate OS X Netbook - Dell mini 9 hackintosh guide - Gizmodo I booted the operating system disk and installed the operating system sucessfully - although it did give me the installation failed message at the end but thats just a false message Next I booted the OS again and following the guide above instead of booting from the DVD drive (which i think the code was 9f) i booted from the SSD (which i think the code was 80, maybe - check the guide for specifics) Next step i installed the combo update - which seemed to freeze about 90% - I left it at 90% for around 30 mins then hard reset - booted it up and it said it was running the updated 10.5.8 os version fine then i used netbook cd to install the drivers etc ... DONE! |
