Default OS X from External Drive. - 12-09-2009, 09:22 PM

Is it possible to boot and run OS X from an external drive on a Dell Mini 9 that is running windows? I use 2 different Mini 9's between home and work and I would like to be able to boot OS X on my mini at work without having to mess with its current OS. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a stupid question

I have 10.6.2 installed on a Seagate 500GB FreeAgent Go set up with two partitions one HFS+ and one NTFS. I can boot from the HFS+ and access the other with NTFS-3G and use it to share data with Windows PCs. I still use 10.5.8 on my SSD as I want sound to work better than it does on 10.6.2 even with the available kexts.

Mini 9 | Mac OS X 10.6.5 | 2 GB RAM | 64 GB Stock STEC SSD | BIOS A05 | USB Legacy Mode: OFF | Bluetooth: OFF | NBI 0.8.4(20100616212351)
