the double kext replacement worked just fine for me. A question that I can't seem to find the answer for - if I need to run NetbookInstaller again, will I need to redo the patch? I suppose I could do the experiment, but it is working now and I really don't want to mess with success...

Default Still Static on 10.6.7 - 10-14-2011, 09:37 PM

I know I'm a little late on this topic (last post in this thread was over a year ago...) but I have read through several threads on fixing the hiss from speakers when headphones are plugged in. I applied the mini 9 sound patch and everything has been 90% successful. I have all internal speakers/mic/headphone working before and after sleep! However it still remains that I'm getting a very dull static from the built-in speakers when headphones are plugged in. I read many-a-thread about this issue and patches galore but most seem to be for earlier versions of SL, and very very few in reference to 10.6.7.
Running NBI Special xxx2351.
Has anybody had success if so what method did you use?!

Thanks in advance guys/gals, and I appreciate all the hard work yall have done to make the mini 9 live up to it's potential.
