Don't worry, it'll be included. The only difference is the IoAudioFamily patch probably won't be used (it's not very clean), NBI will be using a different (but equally working) method.

Any idea on an ETA for that? I tried the earlier steps in the thread with no luck, and NBI has been AWESOME!!! Thanks for your work on that!

You are AMAZING! I have a turtle beach Amigo usb audio card. I am going to try and get that working tomorrow, but I would like to have both devices available. One for cuing my music through headphones, and the other to be my master out. If the USB card works, I can at least gig with it Friday and Saturday nights.

Now, to train my body to use the windows key on the keyboard instead of ctrl...

My guess it's with conflicted older drivers as stated above. I'm going to do a fresh attempt when i get a chance this weekend. I'll let you guys know how it turns out if I get a chance.

Well if NBI's got headphone support by next weekend then it looks like I'll be coming back to Snow Leo! Cool!

Just tried this with a fresh snow leopard install and Netbook 0.8.3 RC4 and had the same issue regarding sound.

Everything shows up correctly and controls work. There's just no sound output.

Just installed SL on my new Vostro a90 and it worked liked a dream. Was going to do this Apple HDA fix for the sound, but now that I hear the new NBI will fix audio, should I wait for that instead? Will that be cleaner?
