Finally updated my DellEFI to the most current NetbookInstaller. Seems to be working great, however I'm having one hell of a time figuring out whether I should jump to 10.5.8 or not, especially with searches for "10.5.8" returning no results! I know there were (when 10.5.8 came out) issues with sleep and such. That's the biggest part of this computer for me...with Netbook installer, can I just install the 10.5.8 combo update and re-run NetbookInstaller in safe mode as referenced in mechdrew's guide here: OS Update | Guides | OS X | mechdrew

...or am I going to regret it if I do it?

I've been running Leopard 10.5.8 since it came out on my Mini 9 using DellEFI 1.2a5. Its been the best Leopard version on my system so far. Everything works as it should which I couldn't say with 10.4, through 10.7, and I've had no problems what so ever. Only exception is finicky trackpad, but its still quite useable running Touchpad v.18. I have no desire to update to Snow Leopard until it gets refined a little more for the '9 ("Don't fix what's not broken" so to speak). Hope this helps somewhat,

Did the update, had no sound after sleep. Tried everything I could think of, but this post is what fixed it for me:
