Im glad to finally have a first post here and I hope its helpful.
I have a Powerbook G4 on Leopard that I used with the netbook installer method.
Here are the directions I used:
SL on Mini 10v...I'm a bit lost (sorry)

Obviously you can ignore the parts about a combo update with leopard since you are installing snow leopard. Remember to use RC3 of netbook installer as well.
It worked great for me and i hope you have the same luck.

Is this the guide you are using?
When booting from the USB, at start up, press 0 to enter the boot selection menu, and select USB.

I'm not exactly an expert, but I'm not a novice either, and the directions are clear and I believe I am following them to the "T" but I can't get this to work. I have tried creating the USB flash drives with both an XP machine and a PowerPC machine running Tiger, and I am experiencing the exact same thing, so either there is a step that I am simply missing, I'm doing something wrong, I don't know.
I asked my wife to pickl up another USB flash drive while she was in town. That's the only other thing I can think of. Maybe there is something wrong with this (these) drives I've been using.
I have a USB hard drive. Is there a way to use that?

Could the Tiger disk Utility have cludged these drives to the point that they can't be booted? I know drives used to have a problem with the MBR becoming corrupted. Could that be the deal here? How would I correct that?
Seriously, this doesn't seem to be that hard, and I can't find anyone else on the whole forum that has had this trouble, so it must either be my setup, or my setup's owner!
