Default What's the downside of downgrading BIOS? - 11-05-2009, 06:45 PM

From A05 to A04? I am running 2gb RAM, 16gb SSD, OSX 10.5.6. Everything works great. But I would like to get the bigger battery. My understanding is that there is one (mydigitaldiscount) that works fine with the downgraded BIOS. Question is, what will I lose by downgrading it from its current A05 version to the supported A04?

I believe the downgraded BIOS doesn't report the battery run time properly.
