If you do happen to do a completely fresh install, I highly recommend the guide (mechdrew's netbookinstaller guide) linked in my signature... along with NetbookBootMaker .8.2RC4 and NetbookInstaller .8.2RC4

It is a winning combo!

 Mini 10v  | 2Gb RAM | 320 Gb HDD | Ubuntu 10.04 | OSX 10.6.3 | NBI .8.4RC1 | Chameleon Bullet Theme | BIOS A05 | USB Wake : OFF | USB Legacy : ON | No BlueTooth

Finally got around to attempting the NetBookInstaller. Still no go.

When/if I attempt to upgrade to the new release I'll give it a go again, but for now I guess I don't need my webcam.

Second the opinion. I initially was going to follow that procedure. Lucky for me, the links provided to some of the install software were dead, so, I had to search around to find said software and eventually stumbled upon the DellEFI/Mechdrew website. A MUCH easier procedure (and better documented) that got my Mini fully working on the first get-go.

Mini 9 | OS X 10.6.7 | 2GB | 16GB STEC | .3Mp | No BT |
BIOS A05 | USB Legacy: ON | USB Wake: OFF | Bluetooth: OFF | NBI .8.4 RC1.1 (20100616212351)
Sleep: Working | Speakers: Working | Headphone Jack: Working

Well, turns out I may just be SOL on this. My Dell Mini is past warranty and I cannot get the Webcam to work.
The Mac Install kept crashing, so I put Ubuntu on it. It did not recognize the webcam either.
So today, I busted out the Dell provided WinXP Install, and Utilities/Drivers disks. Reinstall Windows, used the drivers and utilities disk to try to install the integrated webcam driver. It errored out with no real information.
So I attempted installing the driver via the Device Manager and Blue Screened.

So to summurize: Webcam busted, don't know why.
Side note: Mac OSX Told me about 2 hours battery life... Ubuntu gave me about 4 hours. I'm sticking with Ubuntu. Thanks for everyones thoughts, and have a nice day.
