Default Windows/Alt keys mapping reversed - How to change it? - 08-24-2009, 04:59 AM

Is it just me or all the Mini 9s have wrong keyboard mapping for the Windows/Alt keys.
Windows > Alt or something else
Alt > Apple (Command)

How to change it?
Any other keys that have wrong mapping?

I guess that depends on your definition of "wrong."

A standard Mac keyboard has Control, Option, and Command - in that order - to the left of the space bar, and a second Command key immediately to the right of the space bar. The standard key definitions for OS X on the Mini follow that standard layout.

If you really want to swap them around, you can do so easily by opening the Keyboard & Mouse system preferences and clicking the Modifier Keys button on the Keyboard tab.

White Mini 9 | 2GB Transcend RAM | 16GB RunCore | 16GB Patriot Class 6 SDHC | Internal BT | 1505 802.11n | BIOS A05 | OS X 10.5.8
Thinking of trying Dropbox? Use this referal link and we'll both get an extra 250MB of storage.
