I used Software Updates for all but the actual 10.5.8 update, but downloaded and used the Combo Updater for the OS update as I believe there have been fewer problems reported when updating that way. After the update was complete, I simply needed to run NetBookInstaller to do its magic, and then loaded the "vanilla" SMBIOSresolver.kext file to fix the power indicator/preferences problem. It's been a couple of days now, with no problems whatsoever. Thinking of trying Dropbox? Use this referal link and we'll both get an extra 250MB of storage. |

It also includes the battery fix with it (and source code is in svn if you want to see the changes). On a side note, RC4 is not final however 0.8.2 should officially be released in a few days.
