I ordered the A90 when they had the 8GB SSD and 512MB running Ubuntu for $199. And I just received my 2GB stick and the new Super Talent 32GB SSD yesterday, only to find a nice surprise when I opened up the A90 to do the upgrade. Dell shipped a 1GB stick with my A90!  Just wondering if anyone else experienced this? |

Had the same experience as well. Ordered an A90 with 512 MB of ram and opened it to find a 1 GB stick installed. I wonder if they just ran out of 512 MB sticks and decided to upgrade everyone to 1 GB? |

I agree that it is likely a supply thing - 512MB sticks are out of favor. Last fall I configured a Dell desktop for my uncle. They has 3GB and 4GB RAM configurations at different prices. I couldn't see how they would ship a 3GB configuration and I was right - it contained 4GB of RAM. (Not that it helps him, as the Windows he's running sees only 3.) Mini 9|2GB RAM|64GB RunCore|Intel 5300|Windows 8 |

FYI...these sticks go into numerous machines just fine. For example Mac Minis. Let me know if you don't want it I have a Mac Mini or 3 I'll drop it in. |
