Does anyone have a Hytachi Microdrive Driver hack for Vista? I tried to use the one mentioned above and it is for XP only.

J&R has some in stock (made by Panasonic) but they will set you back $300 USD.
Here's the LINK if you're interested: http://www.jr.com/panasonic/pe/PAN_RPSDV32GU1K/

Supposedly Toshiba, SanDisk, PNY and Kingston all have 32GB class 6 cards out now, too. If you can wait until Black Friday or maybe after Christmas, you'll likely find some cheaper. Supposedly 64GB cards are coming out by the end of the year which will surely add pressure for a price drop on the 32GB cards.
I just bought a class 6 16GB SDHC at Yesbuy.net for $40 U.S.

It works in Vista. I've been using it for over a year now.

Ok, I got the driver to install in Vista... It says I need to restart... I restart and it does not work. Under device manager, it says This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.

Please help...

Hello,

I can't get this link to work, and even though I searched I couldn't find the hack anywhere.

Is there another link???

Thanks,

DPN

That is a cool hack.

Are the drivers distributable?
Can you post a link?
Here you go...
http://xpefiles.com/cs/files/folders/ha ... ry616.aspx Make sure you go to device manager and click on sd card drive under disk drives and choose update driver tell it not to look for drivers and click that you have the disk point to the cfadisk cab file that has the gear on it and thats it. Make sure you format the SDHC Card in NTFS first. After the drive shows up as a hard disk then reformat the card back to fat32 to speed the card back up. Any questions just PM me.[/quote:2nldcx5g]

Can the Hytachi Microdrive Driver hack link not be posted on the forum, as I would like to make my removable NTFS HCSD card fixed.

How do you redirect your My Docs. folder? Or better yet can I direct my music and pics folders from the start menu to the D:drive sdhc?

nevermind, used TweakUI, everythings where it should be now.
