I'm getting by just fine with a class 4 32gb Kingston. I use mine for relocating the My Documents folder. I have 12gb of Music and it plays just fine. I also mentioned on the 3-1 Card Reader post that I found the Hytachi Microdrive Driver hack thats lets Windows recognize the drive as a Hard Drive. You can see the total size and available space left. It also assigns it as D: drive.[attachment=0:18w6ioi2]Hytachi Microdrive Drivers.JPG[/attachment:18w6ioi2]

910 GT. That is a nifty 'hack" that I can't wait to try. I have the 8g version and while I don't have 100gb of software like my desktop, I'd like to have some of my 45,000 songs on here.

I could send you the drivers along with instructions if you PM me.

That is a cool hack.

Are the drivers distributable?
Can you post a link?

SDHC card reader question

Thread drift. I purchased my first SDHC card last week (16GB class 6 w/ usb reader). My computer recognizes it, but I'm having trouble keeping it powered up (little red light on top of the reader). My USB 2.0 external hub is powered and runs my GPS, cellphone, SD (non-SDHC) card reader without any problems. I tried unplugging everything - except the new SDHC reader and still it only runs about 50% of the time.

Is it underpowered? Any thoughts? thanks

My desktop is a Dell 8200 with XP and USB 2.0 ports on the back...

Here you go...
http://xpefiles.com/cs/files/folders/ha ... ry616.aspx Make sure you go to device manager and click on sd card drive under disk drives and choose update driver tell it not to look for drivers and click that you have the disk point to the cfadisk cab file that has the gear on it and thats it. Make sure you format the SDHC Card in NTFS first. After the drive shows up as a hard disk then reformat the card back to fat32 to speed the card back up. Any questions just PM me.

I've got a heap of music and videos on my 16GB SDHC. Works nicely with Xbox Media Center - the new PMHD skin looks terrific on the Mini.

I use my 16GB SDHC for media, and only media.

I use the main 16GB SSD drive for the OS and a few programs (ie, Office 2007, FireFox, Paint.NET, VLC).

redirected the My Documents folder,I installed Halo on my SSD and moved the single player map files to the SDHC. I also have some emulators/roms on there as well.

I have a 80 gig external HDD im using for Videos, but I'd like to upgrade to a 320 gig
