Apparently this card works with every OS including mac and it injects natively in backtrack 3. Will this fit in the mini 9? http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...ProductID=2215 It looks like it would, but idk.... Thanks. |

The link says it's a 'Mini PCI Express' drive, which are 70mm, while the stock SSD in the Mini 9 is a 'Half-Mini PCI Express', and is 50mm. So, straight out of the box, it won't fit. However, jkkmobile has modified a Mini 9 to accept 70mm drives. The thread detailing that can be found here: dell-mini-9-modded-for-128gb-ssd-t6331.html EDIT: Just noticed that the specs further down the page say that it is 50mm. If that's true, it should fit without the need for any modification. |

Oh ok, so it has to be the same size as the ssd. 50 mm, thanks so much man. Anyone else have a good card that works well with all OS and injects? |

I'm not sure of the size of the slot for the WLAN card. Search around the forums, people have replaced their WLAN cards before. If the size/specs of this one match the others, you're golden. Sorry I can't help more. |

I've been looking for a backtrack-compatible card for my mini since the day I ordered it, so I really hope you've found it. However, have you seen any really good reports about this card under OS X 10.5.6? I googled around a bit and found some reports of it working with some luck, or not at all, but none of it seemed very clear cut. Otherwise, the specs seem right; I'm tempted to order one. Well, I'm looking as well and am only theorizing that this card works from a forum I visited. I will try to find the link. He and others in the forum, which happened to be a msi wind forum, were talking about how it worked with everything included Backtrack 3 out of the box. Mac included which is huge for me considering my vostro will be a mac. I will continue to research, let's find us a card  *Website I mentioned* http://forums.msiwind.net/hacks-and-...all-t2550.html Claims it just works with everything including injection... Fingers crossed. Anyone else confirm this? |
