Default Is there an "extra" unused PCIe slot? - 04-13-2009, 04:13 AM

People seem to refer to "extra" PCIe slots in their Mini 9s. Are they referring to the unpopulated WWAN space with no actual PCIe header on the board? Do people just somehow solder one on? Am I wrong in thinking that would be prohibitively difficult without advanced equipment?

Or is there another PCIe slot I don't know about on the backside of the mainboard or something?

Dell Mini 9, 2GB RAM, 32GB SuperTalent SSD, no camera, Dell OEM Bluetooth
Running OS X 10.6.2, 100% functional thanks to 0.8.3 Final.
