I think the 70mm is not making proper contact with the connector... I'm able to use the drive fine via usb but not connected via pci-e. I guess that's why my mini can't find it, bios report as "none".

I'm thinking about adding a thin layer of solder to the contacts but before I void my warranty on the runcore I would like to see if anybody can comment on this.
P.S.: I double checked and the runcore is a PATA model.
It took me 4 try's cloning the runcore before it was recognized, although it was fine on the USB. It could have been a contact problem, but I think it was some other issue. The first two times all I got was a blinking cousor, the next two, it would go to the welcome screen and stop.
I can't help on the measurement, away from home.
