Default Unknown Device Driver - 04-09-2009, 05:22 AM

Recently, I purchased a Dell Mini 9 (910) laptop w/ Intel Atom N270 CPU. It came with Ubuntu installed. I removed it and performed a fresh install of Windows XP Pro. After installing all of the drivers, there was one driver that I can't figure out what it is. It's an 'unknown device' with "ACPI\CPL0002\2&DABA3FF&0" under driver detail. The following are the drivers that I have installed.
-Battery/Wireless Meter
-Integraded Webcam
-Synaptic Touchpad
-Wireless and Local Network Adapter
-SD Reader
I have done come google search and found no solution. Some people said that the Battery/Wireless Meter would solve the problem but that's already installed. I contacted Dell, but they want to charge me for support since it was shipped with Ubuntu. Did anyone else have this problem?

That's the batery. Try installing the Battery meter driver or install smartbattery. One of those SHOULD work for you.

Thank you for the quick reply, but I have already tried them both and still have the unknown driver. I think it may be some kind of driver for Intel Atom, but I just can't find what it is.
