I'm running OS X on my 16gb pen drive while I wait for my runcore 32gb.

I have about 3.5gb of free space after installing iLife and iWorks and slimming everything down with xslimmer.

I also deleted all the voice files, screen savers and wallpapers.

So 16gb is the minimum (I know people have it running on 8gb), 32gb should be fine and 64gb ideal.
