Default Looking for OEM Bluetooth Adapter - 03-28-2009, 07:15 PM

Does any one know where I can purchase the OEM internal bluetooth adapter for the mini 9. When I bought it I didn't need it, now I'm in grad school and purchased a data plan which allows tethering to my cell phone. I want the original internal because I use my usb ports, and its one less thing that I can misplace.

Try sending an email to one of the following:

yaphet_merrit@dell.com

Mary_Ann_Morales@DellTeam.com

*Yaphet has been extremely helpful to many of us from this forum, when it comes to purchasing the BT module. I would suggest emailing him and include the part number, your name and Dell Customer number, and your contact phone number. Although recently someone tried to contact him to order but has not heard back...Yaphet usually calls within a day, unless he is out of the office. Try him, if you don't hear back in a couple (business) days, try Mary Ann.

Part Number: J613H Wireless blue tooth module ($19.99)

P.S. You could also try chatting with support, but that is a hit/miss thing, depending on the person you get.

you can also call the dell sales number and choose the options for 'home office' instead of 'home'.

Everyone's response here is right on the money. I ordered through Mary Ann X 2 modules one for my mini and one for my son's mini. Both are running OS X 10.5.6 and work flawlessly with out having to load any extra drivers. Good luck with your order!

Part Number: J613H Wireless blue tooth module ($19.99); PS - No luck doing a chat order, had to call on phone.
