I just got my RAM and SDHC card from NewEgg I ordered. I actually purchased a G.Skill DDR2 800 4GB kit to split with another laptop. The RAM is working great. I really don't notice a change in performance at all but I do know that occasionally my Ubuntu would use some swap space when I was running Firefox with a lot of tabs open with 1GB of RAM. The SDHC card I ordered is a Patriot 16GB SDHC card, it's Class 6. I tested it using "hdparm -t" in linux, it gets around 11MB/s sequential read, and about 8MB/s write of a large file. I'm very happy with my upgrade, so I thought I'd share. Now to order a Runcore 32GB SSD
in a week or two.
