In Win7, the OS sees both SDHC, mounts each with no issues, and will not complain (i.e. it unmounts correctly/automatically) both during sleep/hibernation and then remounts on startup. OSX, however, does not like any USB drive ... and the MR04/SDHC hack is essentially an internal USB drive (SDHC). So, the common issue with OSX is that when it sleeps, and then wakes up, it did not unmount the USB properly and then complains with a warning window upon restart. The fix is to use Sleepwatcher and the customized script from bsoplinger1. Works perfectly (though I did small mod to the /volumes/xxx part of the script etc -> read above for more instructions). XP likely works similar to Win7 and no issues. Only one user here has claimed to use Ubuntu and I'm unsure of any issues or not. ![]() For your A90, if you had a soldering iron (and the parts), you could add do the mod as well. Sooner or later, you'll need more storage, trust me on this ... hahaha ... lots of options open to us as the DM9 is so easy to upgrade. Vol='/Volumes/Extra Progs' <- single quotes Vol="/VolumesExtra Progs" <- double quotes Vol=/Volumes/Extra Progs <- no quotes Mini2: Mini9, Black, 2G, 0.3 Webcam, Bluetooth, 32G RunCore, OS X/Win 7, internal PCI-e SHDC Reader Mini3: Mini10v. Use the WWAN space to wire in a USB SD card slot thing. I have some 8gb Class 6 HDSC cards and will use one of them. I think I can change something on win 7 to state to the system that it is a fixed disk, and then I will install some applications to that (Assume D: drive). I assume it won't be a drain on the battery and will be all ok. | |
