Default SSD Satisfaction Poll - 10-25-2008, 07:12 AM

Please rate your satisfaction with your SSD. If we can compile enough information it may help people when deciding what to go with. Thanks!

Personally, I was looking to upgrade to a 32Gb drive, but I would like to hear what people have to say first. If you could link to the SSD you purchased that would help a lot! (I've read around, but it seems split and worth the risk to try, but hopefully the poll results will seal it for me) Thanks again.

The original 16 gig is adequate (the one that came with the machine) for net browsing, light business use and my gps package (I put the maps on a 2 gig sd card to save that space) but I'd like to see a 64 gig drive on here. claims they'll have one this month for 150, I'll wait for the price to come down some but that's a future upgrade. These solid state drives, "should" last longer and be more dependable than a hard drive with moving parts (and certainly will survive a fall better but maybe not other kinds of abuse).
