The problem arose when I booted up for the first time and received the following message: Page_Fault_In_NonPaged_Area and the following technical message: Volsnap.sys-address F762F747 Base at F7627000, Date Stamp 00000000. Does anyone have any idea what this means and how I can resolve this issue? I'm considering reinstalling my OEM 8GB SSD and if that resolves the problem, then recloning the RunCore SSD and trying again. I hope I don't have a defective RunCore device. Thanks and any advice will be much appreciated.
Sounds like either the cloning wasn't setup right or the SSD is defective. YOu should try making a USB stick with Ubuntu on it and try running it.

Althought ubuntu acts differently if things can't be read from the SSD (windows just blue screens), things like icons will go missing and things just wont load and ou get read errors. If you get none of these with ubuntu, I'd saqy the cloning didn't work.

Hello everybody! I am still waiting for my mini 9 and will be using this good information for upgrading my solid state drive. I have some questions though...Is a 32gb ssd runcore faster than a 64gb ssd runcore? I know you can store more data on a 64gb than a 32gb runcore but does it take any speed away from that storage? I will also be upgrading my memory to 2gb...Will be running wxp..also will just be using normal day stuff on the mini 9. Thanks for the info on uprading the ssd Dunhamzz.

The general consensus here is that the 64GB is faster than the 32.

Has any one tried to increase to the 64GB ssd on mydigitaldiscount.com, While runnig osx or did the have to reinstall it? I was planing to up grade my 32GB to a 64GB. Could I then give my old 32GB to my friend have him put it in his mini 9 and he would now have osx too.

You should merely need to clone the drive with an increased partition size. But giving your SSD with OS X on it to a friend is illegal.

Theoretically, yes, it would work. But his "friend" doesn't have a license for OS X, I assume. Note that in this forum we do not condone discussion of giving or selling disks or systems with OS X preloaded.

If that is your only consern is the license then he will just have to buy one, but the thing is I am not the most adept at dealing with computers thats why i am buying a dell mini 9 with osx installed on it because i do not have ability or means of doing it myself and my friend hates his ubuntu on his and he only has an 8GB ssd in it that is why i thought we would be albe to kill two birds with one stone.

I just signed up to the board. Please someone tell me. Will Cloneing my Drive put Everything I have on my computer exactly the way it is, on the RunCore Drive?

PS: Also did the Ashtray Fix that fixed the set up of the icons on the home screen and changed the Screen Res. Worked Great! Thanks all!
What is the Ashtray fix? Do you have a link to the post that would explain this?
