I would like for my webcam to be off by default. I went into the bios setup but did not see a setting for this. I know that Dell has software on the Mini 9 to access the webcam but I still do not know if the webcam is usually on or off. I want the webcam off to maximize battery life. Thank you for your help...Rick |

Usually off. If the white LED to the left of the cam is off, the cam is off. You can set the Dell Webcam Central to not start with Windows. Mini 9|2GB RAM|64GB RunCore|Intel 5300|Windows 8 |
