Default Just got my 32GB RUNCORE w/ Benchmarks - 02-24-2009, 03:29 AM

Just got it in the mail an hour ago. Downloaded Acronis and imaged my 8GB STEC. I was amazed at how smooth the upgrade was. The Runcore even comes with a screwdriver! I was up and running in 30 minutes start to finish.

Here's the benchmarks... As other people have seen the small block reads/writes are slower on the Runcore than the dell Stec. But MAN look at those write speeds! Even the read speeds are faster for the large blocks. The system feels a little snappier overall, but I really wanted the extra space (have 24GB free now)

Thanks for the benchmarks.

I just ran the same test on my 4GB OEM SSD and maxed out at 36MBps. Looks like the Runcore would be an upgrade. Heck, the 8GB STEC would be an upgrade! Planning on selling it?
