Default Port Replicator / Dock Station options for Mini 9 - 02-18-2009, 03:10 PM

Does anyone know what options are available for using a port replicator with the Dell Mini9?

I wanted to connect a full-size monitor, keyboard and mouse at two different locations (office and home). I also wanted to make sure the replcator has a power connector too, so it can power the Mini without me having to use the power supply each time (if possible).

Thank you!

Looks like you want something like this USB port replicator. Unfortunately, the cheap port replicators around tend to have driver issues, and may not even work as advertised; buyer beware.

I think your only options for powering the Mini are an original A/C adaptor from Dell, or a generic one from eBay.
