Default The Dell SSDs are Cheap... - 02-15-2009, 05:02 AM

I currently have a stock 16 gig SSD,but I notice the Ubuntu Minis can have up to a 64 gig for only $150 more from the 4 gig.

Do they have the same read/write speeds as the 16 gig drives? Because I can live with these speeds for that price...

I think most people will tell you that if you're willing to spend $150, it's not much more to get the Runcore, which has better performance. That option also lets you keep the old (4GB, or whatever) STEC SSD as a backup, or for whatever purpose you choose (sell it, give it away & make someone happy, etc.).
