(Update) For minis without BT, here is a simple way to make the BT MOBO connector carry both +3V and +5V. This way, it is a one time soldering task and the BT connector will be very flexible for future mods. +3V devices that are plugged in to the BT connector should use pin 1 and +5V devices should use pin 2 for positive voltage. Just to equip whatever 3v or 5v USB devices with a 8 pole panelmate connector and arrange the pins for USB+, USB-, ground and positive voltage properly.
