Is it possible to add a touchscreen solution to a Mini 9 with WWAN-card?

I was wondering the same, I have one of the double wide ST SSDs so the area is pretty much as filled up as if I had a WWAN card. I was thinking that with the 1510 (I think I have the number right) half size b/g/n WIFI card there might be enough room for the controller. But then there's the issue of how to affix the 1/2 size WIFI also.

But I keep thinking about it, so perhaps I'll try.

A little late to reply maybe.. but I just got my mini 910 online so I have just started my "internet archaeology" to find out what connectors are used here and there.. I always like to do the homework before modding. The Webcam MB connector seems to be a "ACES 88266 05001" if the schematics is trustworthy that will say.. I haven't confirmed this but will try to get my hands on one to check. Also the BT connector would be a wonderful place to "tap in" concidering the proximity to the WLAN antenna hole in the MB.

(Update)
For minis without BT, here is a simple way to make the BT MOBO connector carry both +3V and +5V. This way, it is a one time soldering task and the BT connector will be very flexible for future mods. +3V devices that are plugged in to the BT connector should use pin 1 and +5V devices should use pin 2 for positive voltage. Just to equip whatever 3v or 5v USB devices with a 8 pole panelmate connector and arrange the pins for USB+, USB-, ground and positive voltage properly. Then "plug and play"

Webcam running on +3V or +5V? New tap for +5V..

Hey middleofsweden, I just wanted to extend a welcome seeing as this forum has pretty well come to a halt. Though I've had my mini for about 3 years now, I'm just now getting around to adding a few simple things (internal usb+gps and upgrade wifi) so I'll still be around some.
I may not have most of the answers, but I'd be happy to help you find something if you're willing to do the same. PMs should get to me directly still btw.

Good luck.
