actually i manage to install autocad, ms project and cypecad too, leaving 4gb still free on the drive

I understand that your desire for the upgrade is mainly because of the size of the drive.
But some people have said things run slower on the 16GB RunCore SSD compared to the 32GB and the 62GB ones: http://mydellmini.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3796
I personally would want to see an improvement in speed as well as in the size, so I think I will wait until I have the money to buy 32GB instead of buying the 16GB.

I would totally go for the 32, or 64 if you can afford it. OSX, stripped down with Xslimmer and monolingual, is still about 9 gigs fully updated. I think windows 7 is even more than that. I've got a 32, and while I have 15 gigs of free space, I know I'd feel cramped with another OS on there (Running OS X right now)
