As I am sure most of you know, A04 introduced the Computrace stuff into the Mini. Apparently the implementation is backwards. Meaning, when you flash to A04 the CT stuff is set to "deactivated". You will see that there are no CT files in the System32 directory. (rpcnet.exe, rpcnet.dll, rpcnetp.exe, and rpcnetp.dll) If you know you are never going to use the CT stuff you can set it to "disable". This is suppose to kill it on your system. But, as some of you have found out, when you set it to "disable" it actually activates the product the files appear in the System32 folder. This is obviously backwards. You have to flash back to A03 first:
Boot to windows and kill the process for "rpcnet.exe"
Go to System32 folder and delete the 4 files listed above.
Reboot and make sure the files do not come back.
