Default help to work without hdd - 06-13-2012, 11:37 PM

help me please to instal xp in anywhere.
i have no ssd in my dell inspiron mini 910.

i have instaling xp mini in a usb and that work but i cannt change language or instal word and excel.

i work whith portable word .that good .but i cannt change language.

tel me please how i can changing language when i work whith xp mini and portable office.

or tel me how i instal xp in sdhc card. and which card work in my dell mini inspiron 910

The Mini 9 will not boot from the SD slot.

Windows does not support being installed onto a removable device. I have heard from people who say that they managed to make it work, but I don't know the details. Do you have a licensed copy of XP to install?

I would suggest that you consider installing Ubuntu Linux and OpenOffice (which I think comes with Ubuntu) - both free. The French language support is good (I set up a system like this for a family from Africa) and it is not difficult to learn even if you only know Windows. You can install these on a USB flash drive. As I wrote earlier, the Mini 9 will not boot from the SD slot, though you can use that for additional storage.
