Hey guys. Quick little background, I work at a local computer shop. Customer came by with a Dell Mini 9.
SSD was dead, she said just toss it. I shop around, find a new battery, new
SSD and I have myself a pretty nice little Mini 9. Anyway, the new
SSD arrived today. I loaded a stripped down copy of Windows 7 on it and got pretty much everything going just fine. No errors in Device Manager, all the primary goodies work, and it's pretty snappy. (I also popped in a 2GB stick of RAM). The only problem is bluetooth! I've not torn this thing down enough to see the module but I have booted it to a copy of Ubuntu 10.10 and seen/enabled bluetooth, so I know this unit has it. I tried a driver pack from Dell and got the "Press FN-F2 to enable bluetooth". I've got the Wireless Select Switch software installed but it only sees wifi. Bluetooth is enabled in the bios. Right now I'm out of ideas. This isn't a must but I would like to have it working since I do have a few bluetooth devices around.
