I would go here Download Ubuntu | Ubuntu & follow Ubuntu's guidance. It has worked well for me. |

Give Bodhi Linux a try  It's a stripped down version of Ubuntu 10.04 with the enlightenment desktop. Runs much nicer imo  And god knows why, but the WiFi works on a fresh install with Bodhi  (unlike ubuntu)1GB RAM | 16GB SSD | 1.3 Webcam | WWAN | WiFi | Touchscreen | Internal Micro SD Reader | Internal FM Transmitter | 4400mah Battery | Ubuntu 11.10 + Gnome 3 & Tint2 |
