Hey guys. I am so stoked. Because of this site I now have a OSX snow leopard 10.6.7 mini9. I just got an acer 24" monitor for AU$158 and now have it running at 1920 x 1080.
It looks so sweet!
So with the upgraded ssd, the monitor and a battery I'll have spent just short $400. Not a bad investment indeed!
So thanks to everyone who gives input to the site.

That's sweet! Do you keep your Mini 9 open while using the larger monitor? If you want a way to keep the lid closed, check out InsomniaX. It keeps the Mini 9 from going to sleep when the lid is closed, so you can use it like a Mac Mini!

Thanks for that. I will definitely check that out as I don't really need the mini 9 screen unless I'm commuting. May have to check out the mic too as I just realized when I was configuring Skype that the mic isnt working!

To fix your internal mic, you can try what I did to get mine working (check out post #59 of this thread).
