I just upgraded my XP Home Mini from the shipped 16GB STEC to a Runcore 16GB (I moved the 16GB STEC to another Mini I bought which had a 4GB
SSD) so I decided to benchmark the
SSD performance before and after the upgrade.
I imaged the XP Home installation from the STEC drive to the Runcore drive (attached via its micro USB connection) by booting from an Acronis True Image Home 2009 CD and selecting the
Clone disk tool.
I used two separate applications: CrystalDiskMark 2.2 and ATTO Disk Benchmark 2.34 on the Mini 9 immediately after a normal boot with each drive. Due to attachment limitations I have only attached the ATTO benchmark screens.
STEC results immediately before the clone operation:

CrystalDiskMark text output:

Random Read 512KB : 70.559 MB/s
Random Write 512KB : 2.590 MB/s
Random Read 4KB : 9.362 MB/s
Random Write 4KB : 0.232 MB/s
Runcore results after first boot:
