Is their a 8.9" LCD screen that has a higher resolution then 1024 x 600 that can be replaced in the Mini 9?

PS. The older ones I think were 1024x568?

BTW: I think they MIGHT have a touch screen/overlay though....same resolution

All Mini 9s are 1024x600. People have tried to replace with a higher res screen but none succeeded. It is possible to set the video driver to simulate a higher res screen if you need that.

I work at a local computer shop. We have a few venders where we get screens, but we generally have good luck with a place called Bliss Computers...

I'd still, however, suggest opening up the laptop and seeing exactly what kind of screen it has.

Gosh that looks spamish... I promise, I'm not a spam-bot or trying to spam my site ^^; Honestly we've had some issues with them too, but still they tend to be the cheapest and realativly reliable LCD suppliers online. Another site we've tried was LCDScreens.com (I think) and they tend to be good, but we've had some issues with their recent services (incompatible screens/sending them to the wrong stores!)
