An sd card adds additional storage that conveniently stores inside the device.
I like to use an SDHC card in my 9s to put often used files. It helps to keep the writing down on the main drive.

I highly recommend you buy a nice class 6.

so ric do you use windows xp or what? and if not what do you recomend? what is your outlook on running osx? the good the bad? any information?

I am a pro geek that is very well trained in Windows. Mac isnt my gig so I cannot comment, really. I use XP pro SP3 on my current 9 but want to try 7 ulitmate 32 bit to see if the 7 benefit gives this wee atom a boost of sorts.
