seems like the runcores are always sold out so a waiting list would be inevitable. and since we have no idea how long the current 32gb wait list is, wouldnt you want your name on that list asap?

Guys demand is just going up and up I only have 300pcs 32GB on the way I think I am up to 250 on back order now. I have another 200pcs 64GB on the way and the backorder sign has only been up for a few days now and we already have like 50pcs sold. If anyone wants in on the next wave I suggest getting the order in ASAP. No CC's are charged until it ships anyhow. The new shipments should start arriving at the end of next week.

I had the same problem many others did with the ebay transaction. More than 10 in stock was listed. I then emailed and asked for confirmation that the drives were in stock. I was told they were in stock. I ordered and two weeks later inquired as to the status of my order after nothing had shown up. I was told, "We got a bad batch. They're back ordered." Which of course I believe to be a flat out lie and I told them so. No sorry we told you one thing and did another. No discount. No compensation for my trouble at all. A month later I get my drive.

Seems what they are doing is false advertising on ebay to generate revenue. Probably when they get enough orders/money they place their order from the manufacturer. They wouldn't be the first outfit to finance their acquisitions with customer orders. I'm glad I got my drive, but I would never order from them again in a million years, just because they have all the marks of dishonesty and crappy customer service. Good customer service is not simply stroking your customers to make them feel at ease while you charge their credit card and plan to deliver when its expedient. I would have rather just been told, "we don't have the item in stock but you can pre order if you want." I would have felt a lot less mislead.

We have already apologized about the eBay issue it was not our fault Runcore did not ship products when they said that they would or customs constantly holding our stuff in limbo land and actually yes many of the 1st runs had issues that had to be fixed including a resistor issue and messed up PCB's. We have since stopped selling on eBay it is to troublesome.

Also we do not charge anyone anything until the product ships we did not make eBay’s policy of immediate money exchange.

Sorry you did not have a good experience with MDD we are working hard to accommodate this great demand with our resources.

Hang in there, Matt, and hang in there members.

I've done business with these folks myself and I've watched multiple threads where Matt and his crew directly respond to folks here and that is simply awesome.
I like that a lot and it's what made me not worry about ordering from them.

It looks like they're still refining how they do things online with a couple of admitted bumps along the way, but they're bringing some great products at great prices and from what I can see are trying to rock, if you'll allow an expression.

You know what Matt? You don't have to throw the baby out with the bath water. The way you're selling this product is the problem - its not an eBay problem so don't blame them, and its not fair to place the blame on Runcore. If you know damn well you are having supply issues, you don't go post "more than 10 available" on eBay and hope to God your get your shipment before everyone starts screaming. And you certainly don't respond to customer inquiries that the product is in stock when by your own admission you have a history of stocking problems and know that it either isn't in fact in stock or that the likelihood of it being in stock is so small as to warrant a warning. If the product is in such high demand you should have no worries that honesty on eBay might translate into a reduction in orders - that won't happen.

I run a business too. I can empathize with supply problems, but I don't blame my suppliers when my customer has an issue with what I've sold them. I also can't empathize with bullshit excuses cloaked as an apology doubling as a sales tactic. If that's the game you're playing - and I'm guessing there's a better than even chance you are - you can kiss my ass.

By the way, your drive works great and the price was fair. Thanks for finally delivering.
