Default RunCore 32gb Cooling Pads - 01-12-2009, 08:29 PM

Hey folks,..

just upgraded my Mini 9 From the 16gb STEC to a RunCore 32gb.
Awesome fast :-) !!!

But what I saw were the cooling pads on the STEC drive.
Where can I get these cooling pads for the RunCore or
is it not necessary ??

Not necessary. I'm not even sure those things are cooling pads.

Yeah, I think they were just RF interference protection, if that. I removed them from my STEC drive pretty early on, looking for a way to hook the HD light to it.. And later on, sold my STEC drive without them. Even the STEC drive works fine without them.

Tired of wondering if your Mini9 is doing ANYTHING? - Add a HDD Activity LED
