I placed an order for a Dell Mini a good 4 weeks ago and it is being delayed by another 4 weeks as of today. But I was wondering if anybody had attempted to add the popular touch screen mod to a Mini, if so can you please share some details on that? It has been done on ASUS EEE 900 or 901 and I beileve it should work just fine with Dell Mini too. I'm planning on doing it as soon as I get my Mini, but couldn't find a reliable site to buy an 8.9" Touch Screen Mod anywhere! Any thoughts/suggestions/ideas/sites will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much! PS: And I believe the mod voids your warranty. |

Once something is available I'd imagine you can use the same pin-outs and power that the GPS hack uses. Reading Jkkmobile's site on the Eee mod it looks to be doable provided the panel is made available. http://jkkmobile.blogspot.com/2007/12/a ... creen.html |
