Sounds like some people here work for either Runcore or their distributors judging by their replys to SSD
posts  . If i had the option originally to buy my mini9 back when I got it with a 64gb upgrade for 75 bux I would have taken that route. I would have much rather have had a factory warrantied SSD
drive and not have had to pay an extra $225 for the Runcore. I don't use the mini for anything exotic. I have other laptops and towers for that (Macbook Pro, 8 core Mac Pro, Panasonic Toughbook, MSI Wind, and towers I have built). I just wanted a small computer to use for travel as I travel all over the place and the mini fits in my jacket pocket. Im not in so much of a rush that the extra 2 seconds for my browser to open or 4 seconds for my email program to open bothers me. So the difference in speed between the Stec and the Runcore to me is nil. Im sure most people would rather save $$ rather than milliseconds. In the real world lets say it takes a Runcore 1 second to open your browser, since its supposedly 3x faster, an Stec will open it in 3. Does this justify the extra $225 for a computer you probably wont be using 2 years from now?
And FYI, I did buy and install a Runcore 64gb in my mini as well as the original 64 and 32gb SSDs MDD.com sold.
