Default SanDisk SSDs? - 01-06-2009, 08:50 PM

Just saw this post from Engadget through my RSS feed: ... ok-sector/

I don't see anything specifying if they will come in the necessary PCIe-spec we need, but it is something to watch out for. My experiences with SanDisk solid state - mostly USB drives and SD cards - have all been positive.

good to see, i'm sure there will be pcie versions. the costly part will be the flash chips rarther than the controller chip. i'd much prefer to put big brand name ssds into any of my machines

i'm expecting to see the ssd market get much bigger this year which is great news for us

I like SanDisk's products but they have been hitting some hard times lately as a company.

Hopefully they will continue to develop new products because as stated, the quality is there.
