Now, those are some numbers I can make a judgment call on! Thanks for doing the guinea-pig thing, davico_resello!

A couple of questions:
- Is this the mutant Chinese battery mentioned in the previous post?
- Your software reports that it's from Dell (under Manufacturer), is this accurate?
- There appears to be just a little restriction of the hinge - do you find this unacceptable after using it?

My next acquisition for my Mini might just be this battery . . .

Thanks again!

Looks like that one will definitely deal with the beeping bios better, it plummets off a cliff at 12% or so, rather than plateu-ing at 5%.. Less time spent under 10% where it beeps like mad. Good job with the test, you might try running it again in a week or two after the battery has had some time to break in.

This is the seller we both used. 100% feedback and very responsive (he refunded me a second accidental payment within 10 minutes of emailing him!)

-yes, the big one, but not too big after all.

-yes, i think they just cloned some chip info there

-not at all. the screen don't go all the way back even with the regular battery. here i lost a couple of dregrees, maybe 2 or 3, nothing more.

the weigth, poussin, is a little heavier, but you can manage it easily, not big deal. is not 2x heavier, maybe 1.7-1.8x the regular battery.

about the seller, slverscoobie is right, http://myworld.ebay.com/powerfeng_ltd/, but i don't wanted to do some advertisement here  , i bought from him just because he was the most cheaper seller, that's all

but people, be aware, the flashing problem is still there. you will need to reboot your mini in order to charge the battery. is the same problem that some people report in the forum with the regular batteries. and the battery keep flashing when you take off the adapter. i don't know if is just my battery, or every battery came that way.i will need to get use of 7 hours of regular use with flashing all the time. nothing a little piece of tape can't handle

and remember, the numbers of the test are full loaded, the regular times is around 120-130% that value.

That actually doesn't look half bad! We are considering a 1 - 1 in our school district and are trying out a few mini's (how I got mine). Our biggest concern is battery life, we need something that would last the entire school day.

yes, i notice that. while the test was running, it says 7:30 all time, and then, zhumm to the 6:30, and then mini's off

notice too in the beginnig that there is a "down and up" graph, in the regular batteries there's a "up and down" instead.

maybe is something to do with the bios update? i had A04 in the last one :?

muahaha, imagine replacing this -probably- 1900mAh cells with the high capacity 2600mAh cells?

2600mAhx4=10400mAhx11.1V=115440mWh=115WH, is like 9 hours battery

--------------edit-------------

now i let the mini connected to a wifi network, lcd on all time, and 3 hours later the batteryis at 70%. lets see wat happens near 20-15%...
